Campus Activities.
Because many students felt the need to have informal discussions outside
the classrooms on many subjects of interest to college men, a Polygon Club was formed. Aside
from informal discussions on topics ranging from "McCarthyism" to "The Kinsey Report," the
club participated in formal debates with such other colleges as the University of Vermont and
Le Moyne College.
Students interested in square dancing met weekly to continue a club called the
Terpsichoreans. As members of the Country Dance Society of America and the Frontier Folk
Dance Association, participants from both colleges called and taught all the dances.
