The team sent five stars to the 25th annual Interstate Intercollegiate Individual Invitation
(the 4-I) Wrestling Tournament at Case Institute of Technology on March 9 and 10. Hantz
accompanied Trimboli, Fay, Babcock, Danielson, and Parrot to the 4-I tournament. Clarkson
had participated in two previous 4-I tourneys. In 1956, Hank Domingos had placed 4th in the
130-pound class and Bob Shepard had wrestled in three bouts in the 137-pound class. Hantz
also had taken Morris Knapp and John Babcock to the 1958 4-I tournament.
